Presumably because the goal of an OW class is to have people come back for the next class.

It won't make a difference, I was hesitant because I though it would influence the amount of diving I might do. I don't think so, it was so cheesy and unbelieveable. The sharks sucked, the trailers said the best shark movie since jaws......what!!!!!! you did'nt see a shark's head until the end when the fisherman had a dead mako. Were'nt the sharks browns? I was expecting greatwhites and bulls thrashing about.

Rich,

Drink another shot before reading further...

...just wanted to point out that you missed commenting on the fact they had dropped their weights and yet she was able to sink into oblivion effortlessly while wearing what appeared to be at least a 3mm full wetsuit, and she's a she at that.

Not impossible to do, but weight would make it easier. I have freedove my 5mm with no weights before, of course it took a little effort to get down the first 2 feet or so, bit of a tuck dive and some hand movement, but not impossible.

I agree, I've freedove in 3mm with no weights, but in the movie she just sinks, no effort whatsoever...not likely to happen.
