Ok...so I am behind the power curve

so just shoot me now.....

I just now rented and watched OPEN WATER.

First there is a shark....then a jelly fish attack..then someone has to pee....god put me out of my misery and the movie has just started....

then they get seperated....and it hasnt been long in the day at all....

then there is a leg cramp....ok i can deal with that....halfway reasonalble....

then another shark...this time i think a bite....ouch....just a nibble...

there is no doubt this dude could have never been AIRBORNE..what an f'ing whimp..

then there is the psychological breakdown....(what theyve been in the water less than 6 hours..) where they blame each other.....oh god..put me out of my misery...

tons of boats around but never do they take a fin off to try and signal...never do they have a mirror or cd.......NEVER DO THEY HAVE A DIVE ALERT.....

Then...of all things...there are vultures flying above....oh plssssssssssssssss shoot me...

Of course at this point stud city decides to pull his dive knife out....Im dieing here...someone help me...

of course the little dude drops it in the first altercation....god i want him on my team during a secret incursion....NOT>>>>>>>

next scene the dude is toast....the chick is hanging on to him...why..????? dont continue such a worthless gene pool woman....

and finally....the dang boat worker figures out they left someone behind...DUH....no...f'ing DUH.....shoot me...pls just shoot me....even a stomach wound would be better....

So they start a search.....a catalina...and several boats....zippy doo da....nothing.

finally...the chick has lost the hubby....and then....just sinks into oblivion....GOOD>...GET RID OF WEAK GENES.....

man what a waste of money....

so sorry.....went to dentist today...the idea of renting some movies and watching them with a little scotch not a good idea....

oh by the way...find their kids and shoot them too....stupidity is hereditary...

i gotta take a break...

Go cave diving, and instead of using a reel, just drop out a trail of the stuff so you can find your way back.

I would rather bob around in the water for a day than watch this movie again. Relatively speaking it would feel like the same amount of time. I also have a new theory about the fate of the divers in open water, since they did not live to tell their tale. A recent encounter has leadme to believe that they were killed by puffer fish and not the much maligned sharks that absorbed the blame in this flick. Those viscious, viscious puffer fishes.

My wife (an avowed non-diver who hates the water unless she is in a boat that displaces at least 10 tons) liked the movie.... and wants to see it again!

Go figure.

I'm going to watch it. But I'm going to invite someone over whom has recently annoyed me. Just to watch them suffer through it. It will REALLY add to my ability to enjoy the movie. :evil:

I can't say I *liked* the movie -- but I laughed through a lot of it - out loud!!! The people around me were horrified.

They were especially shocked when I was rooting for the sharks! (-;
