Wow, I came across this thread by accident and I am very pleased to see confirmation that Oceanic is a terrific company both in terms of making great products for a reasonable price and also for having prompt customer service.

I just wrote this review of the VT Pro (including a preview of the VT3).

Now I'm going to add the part about Oceanic's splendid customer service. Kudos to you guys over there, keep the great computers coming.

I'm getting rid of my VT Pro btw, so that I can upgrade to the Atom 2.0, which will be my third Oceanic dive computer in a row :D

seriously.... the pricing for scuba equipment in australia is terrible (high mark up)..... why can't we have a shop like Larry in australia?
 
Just ran across this thread today, and I'm impressed with the service that was shown by Oceanic's rep. I use an oceanic BC, reg, and computer, but have had zero problems so have never had to deal with any customer service issues. I'm happy to see that if I need assistance in the future, I can expect great service.
 
I was already pleased with the quality of Oceanic's gear. I have a Chute 2 BC, Delta 3 reg, and Datamax Pro Plus computer and I've been very satisfied with their performance. It's great to know that there's good customer service to back up the products too.

I'm afraid of crocks... never really understood what a bill-a-bong was, and wallaby's freak me out, so I have to stay in the US. But UPS has big brown planes.;)

Wow, I'm glad I saw this thread. Based on this and my good luck with their product so far, I am going to make an effort to buy Oceanic/Aeris products whenever feasible.

That said, where's that HUD mask?? :)
