WooHOO it's almost here!!!!

For as short a period of time as I have known the conch's I know there will be plenty of booze, so I will throw a cooler in the jeep with soda's, water, etc, and of course my dive gear.

PS Marvel, got the directions thanks!! I get off work at 5 and will be there soon after. Let me know if there is anything else I need to bring.

I was just checking the marine forcast and it seems like we'll be having 3-5+ ft waves near shore tomorrow. Well this translate into a rough/no shore dive?

Well, I know Wally is bringing a case of dark deco juice and
Scott promised a case of blondie deco juice. Do we need more ?
That was a a silly question ! Wasn't it ?

OTOH, I hate to be the messenger of bad tidings....
FORGET THE DIVES !! The Big Kahuna surfers already ordered
and have been granted some really mean surf conditions with
strong north (cool) wind raising waves well above ten feet.
Mean rolling swells (that's what the surfers pay good money for)
will stir the bottom and bring the viz to "crystal clear"...meaning,
clear all the way to the mask crystal.
..
It might be better off to forego the diving this weekend and
dedicate all your time, resources and energy to some serious
parties. Of course, I have been known to liebefore, but...it is
up to you guys.

You may be right, Wally but you'd be surprised how different things can look when you actually look at the water. I'd suggest bringing your gear- won't hurt & you'll be kicking yourself if you leave it at home & miss a dive... I'll post something tomorrow about what the conditions actually look like.
