WOOOHOOOOOO I just took my new (used) camera diving for the 1st time over the weekend..... I need to learn how to use it now....... I ended up getting a Sea N Sea DX-8000g with a Sea N Sea YS-27 strobe.... Got a few good (I think they are good) pix.. but also didnt get to many cuz having BC problems with leaking bladder.... No Power Inflator (it broke) and a leaking drysuit....

Umm, I have this "friend" who has a my space account who let me use it....Cool pictures.. I want to go to Fiji!! Guess I'll have to dive Monterey and the Channel Islands for the time being.

Summer of 2006, way before daylight, my neighbor 3 doors over has the house alarm go off. It's
still going off when I leave for work at 5:30. It's off when I get home. Next morning, same thing, same exact time (to the minute).

I know their son is a Lt. in the USMC, their last name is a bit unusual, so's his first name. I google
it. First hit is his page on MySpace. Yep, that's him, he's online, but I can't send him an IM
without registering with MySpace. I spent an hour and a half trying. Three different computers
on two different networks. Turned off the Firewall. Tried everything I know (and I'm a computer
nerd by trade). Never could create the dang account to tell him to call Mom and Dad.
ARRRRRGH.

Just to let ya know.... there is a channel islands trip coming up Dec 8th 9th and 10th on the vision..... The cost is 475$...

I did some awesome dives at Ball Buster and Shale Beds Sat. and S. Monastery on Sunday. We dove Lover's Sun too but the vis was so bad (maybe 5-8 ft) we called it. The red tide was interesting at Shale Beds. It cleared up below the brown layer but it was pretty dark...it almost felt like a night dive.

Nice photos Michelle. Are you using the SL strobe again? I see Brad's got a pretty fancy strobe - so I will be looking forward to his reports from the Channel Islands with photos!!
