November Get-Together?

Count me in...Guess we're at least doing a boat dive one day. 3 tank? Three dives? Cool. I have my CPR class tonight and Wednesday night... I'll ask Bruce if he'd be interested in "sponsoring" a cleanup dive on the 17th of November at BW or McAbee, if you guys are interested. I vote diving both days, but that's me... Diving is my new crack...

If doing a boat dive on Sat works better, then the Escapade has an open boat leaving at 8:30am. Monterey Express has an open boat leaving at 8:00am as well as an afternoon boat. Or maybe the clean-up schedule can be worked so people can double dip....like Sat morning is a shore dive with enough time for some people to so a boat dive instead if they want to...then Sat afternoon is the clean-up...then Sun morning is another boat dive.

I'm all for diving both days too. I'd like to do the cleanup/shore dives on Sat and go out with Cypress Sea on Sun. We could plan 2 dives on Sat and if some want to do a boat trip on Sat also, we could just meet up with them before or after.

I think it might be best to do a morning boat dive which is often deeper, and an afternoon shore dive cleanup, which is often shallower.

That is, if we're planning to double dip.

I have booked at room at Lone Oak for Saturday night and have a spot reserved on Cypress Sea for Sunday 11/18. Now let's do burnt offerings to the weather gods.

I'll be pulling for good conditions for you all and hopefully I'll get down there someday soon to interact with some of you without having to type.

After much debate and heartbreak - Mark and I have decided that we are not going to be able to make it for the boat dive because of Thanksgiving engagements that week and our need to prepare for them. Sorry! We will have to shoot to do another boat dive in the early parts of 2008.

We will, however, be joining you all for whatever happens on Saturday (Corral Street or Clean-Up somewhere). Brad - Have you chatted with Aquarius? Alternatively, I could inquire with Pinnacles up here to see if they would be interested in sponsoring, etc. Let me know.
