Hey everybody my name is Brian and I am new to scubaboard. I recently received my advanced open water certification and was certified for open water a little over a year ago. I have not done much diving due to school but now I am fortunate enough to be able to dive much much more in the near future. I am planning on going abroad and living in Australia from February until the end of June so I will be spending plenty of time in the water. I want to take the first step to purchasing dive equipment to use on my trip and hopefully this will motivate me to go more in New Jersey when I am home as well. I do not want to spend a crazy amount of money nor do I want to cheap out and buy so so equipment. I am thinking of purchasing a BCD, full regulator setup, and dive computer from my local dive shop. I was wondering if anybody could give me any directions for a setup that would work well both in warm and cold climates (probably mostly warm water but I do want to be able to dive off the Jersey shore). I know this question is probably posted a million times but any input I could get would be much appreciated. Thank you all in advance and sorry for the lengthy post!

AquaLung Legend Regulator is good. The Sunnto Gekko is a good computer. (these are both what I have..lol) I'm not just saying they are good because I have them, other people agree! but yes, if you look at the reg section and the BC section and the computer section they have had this question A LOT.
