Got my Mach V last week and tried it out last weekend.

It was great Patrick! Very good handling under and above the water; very streamlined and allows you to skim through effortlessly; the 360 loop allows you to level off any air in the bladder immediately as you shift leaving no traps in between - really keeps you horizontal very well; also handles well in manouverability.

I'm really very impressed. Great product!!! I'll post a pic my buddy took of me when i get it.

And by the way, got really good feedback about how it looks topside and below that my 3 friends want to get one. :)

Thanks for the kind words --- made my day.

Best regards,

Patrick

considering coloring the yellow letters into black

You might destroy the esthetic beauty of the wing and the weight of the ink just might have an impact on the finely tuned balance of the Mach V. :)

OK... I have read most of the thread and never saw the question asked...

Why no slots for tank bands? Even if you remachined a plate for thinner band width, that would be good as I HATE STAs.

If I added slots, it would not be the same wing.

If you do not like STAs, then you might consider the Signature Series 30# --- it has the slots.

Patrick

i see your point. market ink is about .001 grams per ml and this might be enough to disrupt the equilibrium of your rig:) il just leave it as is

What would it change about the wing, other than the slots. Not trying to be contentious as much as I am trying to understand why they are not there.

thanks too... hopefully it demonstrates how the wing can easily be managed...

I'm really surprised why nobody ever thought about it that way before...

clearly I'm an oxycheq fan... :)

If slots are needed for the cam bands to pass through, it would result in a wider wing.
