Would love to see some diagrams of the old Mk19 to compare with the promo materials here, to figure out how the EVO improved performance.

I guess there's nothing new under the sun. But it was fun reading about all the MK25 freezing comments, knowing what we now know about their new coated spring, the composite piston and the anti-ice components.

Still, maybe the Mk19 was just ahead of its time. With improved engineering, and such great flow, perhaps it will catch on. Sealed regulators rule! :D
 
Here are two cross sections for the Mk17EVO and the Mk19EVO for comparison.
Does anyone have any promotional material for the old Mk17 or Mk19 that we can use to compare?
