I recommend a product called SnorkelSnot. It is an all natural product that doubles as a beard balm, lip balm, salve, all kinds of things. Good for you, good for the reef! You can check them out on Instagram (@snorkelsnot) or www.snorkelsnot.com

SnorkelSnot solves the leaking problem with better results than the silicone grease and vaseline (it lasts longer) and no worries about any potential health/ecological problems!
I'm not saying this is blatant advertisement, but:
  • New user - no other history or introduction
  • Revives a thread from 2017 about a specific topic
  • Posts web and Insta links in first post to a new commercial product related to that topic.
  • Continues to drive product placement by name for search engines.
I mean, it's subtle, but at least get a SB sponsorship, jeez.

…and he’s from Honolulu. Big surprise!

Fair enough, like I said, definitely not a chemist! At the same time (and I think we're on the same page about this) not something I want the risk of ingesting and very likely these things aren't great for our reef and other aquatic systems!

SnorkelSnot is made with All-Natural ingredients that are regular food stuffs. Coconut oil, Olive oil, Honeycomb Beeswax; nothing else. I hope they use extra virgin olive oil! :))
