:depressed: I fell down the last two stairs at home 10 days ago and thought I just sprained my ankle. Its been sore but not enough to keep me from the gym and a trip to NYC. Went to the ER today...its fractured!! Looks like my trip to Cozumel next week will consist of lounging by the pool getting a very uneven tan with my cast and listening to my husband gush about the diving. Totally bummed.

What, your doc couldn't fit you with a waterproof cast?

No, sorry to hear that. At least you've got a nice pool to hang out at and waiters to bring you food and drinks so it could be worse. Get well soon!

Better News!! Went to see the Orthopedic Dr right after I posted. There is a very small fracture. He gave me an ankle support and told me to have a good time diving on vacation! He told me the ER docs overreacted. So so happy now.

That's great news! Would be really tough to go to Coz and not dive at all.
