This photo infuriates me! I am glad the marine park implemented action against this diver. I wonder who the dive op was that allowed such atrocious behavior, not by one but two( the other dive petting a splendid toadfish) divers.
Actually I think the bracelet is the one issued by the marine park.The person "petting" the toadfish is most likely a tourist staying at an AI - she has a bracelet on her wrist.
I'm not surprised AT ALL - I knew he was was working illegally based on his Facebook profile even before we confirmed who his employer was. I was simply pointing out that although he said he wasn't working, that was a blatant lie - he was attempting to cover his hiney - but we were several steps ahead of him.You seem surprised that a dishonest person who was caught with their hand in the cookie jar with their hand wrapped around a cookie would say "I wasn't reaching for a cookie!".
People commit crimes and lie to try to get out of trouble all the time. If they didn't we wouldn't need courts, and witness testimony, and evidence and judges and jurys.
Life would be so much simpler.
