The Sherwood Oasis and Maximus have some of the widest exhaust tees that I have seen.

Same with the Sherwood Blizzard. I don't know if I mentally process them away or if it's that effective but with the "walruss" exhaust tee I'm not aware of bubbles in my field of view.

As for being a "top" reg you need a criteria. For reliability, ease, availability and economy of service you'd be hard pressed to beat them. There are easier breathers but in the recreational range they serve the need nicely.

The TX50 is probably a good choice as well, given it's large exhaust tee.

You might find changing out your Titan second stage for a Conshelf XIV second gives you the wider whiskers. Be a lot cheaper than the alternatives. The internal parts are the same so when you take it in for servicing it's easy. If you don't like the breathability then your going to be shelling out a lot more money.

I tried an old twin hose style regulator once many years ago and wasn't impressed with the resistance to inhalation, I've heard the Mistral is much the same and I don't think I'd be prepared to sacrifice that much breathing comfort! Pity- kinda cool!
From my understanding, the new Mistral isn't everything it could be.

I have 3 vintage double hose regs that I dive regularly... properly tuned, I think they breath as well as ANY of my single hose regs. My favorite is the original Mistral single stage.

Take a look at www.vintagedoublehose.com, Bryan is working on a new nozzle that will turn a DA Aquamaster (fairly common doublehose reg) into what the new Mistral should have been.

I dive the Titan LX and just have to say that I do not have bubble problems unless I really crank my head back to near vertical. When I'm taking a shot sometimes my forearms will come in tight to my reg and divert some bubbles up in front.

Easy way out. XTX50 comes with the wide exhaust of the TX50. And they ARE wide... I've had some positive remarks on this "new" feature from customers, so I guess it works...

The DiveRite RG2500 setup has no issues with bubbles interfering with line of sight.

A good low cost solution would be a SP metal case balanced adjustable 2nd stage; they have a big rubber exhaust tee. They breathe as well or better than the current G250 2nd stage.
