Thanks again for the info

I've looked again at the XTX Apeks and the exhaust Tee looks as wide as anything I've seen..should be good.
Also the IP is the same as the Titan first (135lbs +/- 5lbs) so should be able to buy a XTX50 second from Diveinn and have it fitted/tuned then use the current LX cecond stage as a octupus!!
The Titan LX got good ratings for WOB down deep from Scubadiving mag so the first stage should be fine with the Apeks down to recreational depths (which is all I currently do).

just wondering, but why don't you want any side exhaust regs? Its not important either way, just was wondering why you don't like them, or didn't want them suggested?

I thought about side exhaust but I've never used one and had to rely on reviews/ comments from others.
Oceanic Omega- never read a report about this reg that had really good things to say although they seem quite popular.
Poseidon- Ditto the Omega- a lot of people swear by these regs but my understanding is that it can be difficult to find a good service for them, they need to be in a state of good tune to work well and are more designed for delivering big volumes of air at depth than gentle slow air delivery on a relaxed recreational dive (of course I would like a reg that can do both of these last two points).
