As a new diver I have just spent the last
two hours going thru all 44 pages on Regulators.

I have gotten a very good impression of Apeks
as others have as well

I'm gonna try to find an LDS that has Apeks
regs for rental so I can try them out for myself
before my purchase.

I feel very accomplished that I have gone from
" Which one do I choose" to
" Apeks please "

Now if I can have as much luck with BC's
I'll be a happy diver.

The biggest problem that you will have is finding one for rent. You might find a shop that will let you demo a unit with the understanding that you will purchase it from them if you decide you like it.

YEah....DD's probably right abdout a LDS. Most of them aren't into renting out their top of the line product....

However, you might very well be able to contact some other divers on the board who migh have Apeks regs who might be willing to let you try one out for a weekend...and maybe you could buy that guy or gal lunch......

I am not one of those people BTW, I do not have the equipment you are looking for just yet.
