Like I said earlier in this thread... most Women are hit on their whole life.. I can understand the OP asking the question "Does it creep you out" to other women on the board.. They come here to share their love of diving, NOT LOOKING for a boyfriend... You can take a peek of a girl in a thong bikini on a beach, When you LOOK it's boarder line creepy, When you watch her it's CREEPY... When you follow her around it's stalking... And again, It's all how the women involved takes it..
Jim...
What I saw in post #1 was
"..I really hate .....................................when guys start hitting on you."
Then the suggestion that a Like, a Follow, and a PM suggesting diving, on a diving forum, was somehow stalking.
It could be, certainly, but while a women has every the right to their privacy, if a simple No stops the contact, then it is not, ( in my male opinion, of course), stalking. Attempted contact after that first No does suggest aggression.
In that first post I may have missed it, but I recall no mention of continued attempts to pursue, just the statement that OP hates being contacted in such a way by a male.
She has the right to hate it.
He also has the right to try.
It is my point that it is what happens after the first No, that determines true intent, and begins to cross the line.
