?????? Not sure what that means... This is my latest jewfish video, shot a few weeks ago... Were we empathetic enough?

I saw that one before....I think it is really nice of you guys to feed the jewfish. At some point, some spearfisherman may learn that jewfish collect at wrecks, particularly wrecks created for fishing---because they are smart enough to see that they can get an easy meal whenever fisherman or spearfisherman are there....Of course, there is a massive reefline, with very few jewfish to be seen on most dives over most reefline...and where a speared fish will not be stolen by an educated jewfish, because there is not one of these moochers within miles of the spearfisherman.
The spearfisherman like the idea of shooting fish in a barrel--which is what the shooting on a wreck is like--compared to reefs.....it is a huge collector for fish....This worked great in the artificial setting fisherman created several decades ago when they wiped out the jewfish and most of the sharks....but with the jewfish population rebounding....we will see more today--of what you would have seen in the 1940's or 200 years ago--if someone tried fishing on a wreck which had sunk where the Mispah is now, or one of the others of interest to fisherman....back in these old days, the fisherman ( or spearfisherman if they went back in time), would have pretty much everything taken from them by large numbers of 8 foot long jewfish, and large hunting packs of sharks. There would be tons of fish, but they would have been so concentrated on this structure, that all the predators would be interested in "working" this area, rather than wandering around the reefs.
So for human fisherman, artificial wrecks would have been a foolish concept as "planned fishing spots"...the smart plan would have been just fishing our hundred miles of healthy reefs, or, the healthy areas out in the blue water many many miles out.
