Jupiter Dive Center 3 Tanks
2-3 ft. seas, mostly clear skies, slight south current, 25 ft.(7.5 m), vis, water temp 70 F (21C)
Captain - Mike, Dive Guide - Maria, Deckhand - Steve, Check In Marcelo
Due to the diminished visibility animal spotting required more diligence than usual.
In the end everything worked out well. We came up with 6 caribbean reef sharks, 2 nurse sharks, a southern stingray, 10 goliath groupers, a decent sized black grouper, and the prize of the day, a good sized snook. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common snook
Surprisingly I saw no turtles underwater, but the captain of a boat not far from us radioed he saw a leatherback on the surface.
The weather this time of the year can make diving Palm Beach County Florida a roll of the dice, but during the spring animal migrations it is possible to see an astounding array of fish, sharks, and turtles on every dive.
