Has anyone dove in Dive Haven? Anyone know the temps of above and below thermoline? I really need to know so I can bring a right thickness wetsuit or drysuit. :)

Thanks in advance.

Hey, m'Lady J !!!!

Temps drop to the low 50's below the 25' thermocline.
Above that a 3 or 5 mill will do for most folks.

What are your options?

The K, thanks! brr, sounds chilly to me! I have 3/2mm, 5mm, and a drysuit.

Probably will bring my drysuit (with thin undies, ~100g) along with 5mm in case.

A 3mm is good out there if you want to stay shallow, thats staying above 25-30 ft, so keep that in mind. If you want to go deeper, I recomend nothing less than a 5mm.

im bringing a 7 mil shorty to go over the 3 mill full suit, hope i have enough lead.

I'll bring my 7mm semi-dry and a spare 5mm. I hope to have my dry suit (it may be close) if the dry suit works as advertised the 7mm may be up for sale...it is an XL titanium sharkskin...really nice...full with hood and boots.

Mike

m'Lady J,

Bring the 5mm and D/S. That will give you the option.

It does get chilly at depth!

I'm going to be in my Drysuit for the whole day...in the water that is.
