I am 49. I did my OW in 96 and went from 0 to hero while diving in Okinawa. Last dive had been in 2000 until about year in a half ago wife wanted to learn to dive and I said I am on board. Little did she know the monster she would release. Been diving as much as I can.

Girlfriend at the (Japanese) time was leaving me for the summer to go diving with her family. "You can tag along if you knew how to dive."

I certified and went with to Okinawa.

Nice I would have learned too. I lived there for a year while in the Marines. I learned to dive there also. none of this pool stuff all in the ocean. I loved diving there. I would like to go back.
