First dive was in 1972 at age 8 living in Bahamas. Live in NJ and dive here now. I miss the Bahamas.
 
63 old and OW certified in late 1988 so 35 years on that.
 
56 certified 89 3000+ don't count my teaching dives. warm, cold, reef, wreck pretty much everything but ice
 
I have 350 dives. 500 hours (20.8 days) below the surface. :)

I started doing try-dives, in the early 2000's, a couple times a year on vacation.
I finally got some sense and became certified in 2016. I practiced and obtained a handful of certifications I felt were necessary, on my way to TDI Full Cave which I acheived in March 2022.
 
I am 60 YO, started diving when I was 12, and did not get certified till I was 48. I am not sure how many dies I have, maybe 1 thousand?
 
Im 40. Was NAUI open water certified in 2001.
