The bug finally got to me!!!

2007 hopefully many many more!!!

2005 - none, not certified
2006 - 50, certified in May
2007 - my goal is 80 plus dives for the year

For my first year I was able to dive in some neat places; Molasses Reef off Key Largo, Nubble Light off York, Maine, Dutch Springs and lots and lots of cold freshwater lake dives locally.

This whole "work" thing gets in the way of diving , though!

2005 - not certified.
2006 - 20- certified in March
2007 - 50~75

In 2006 I had some opportunity to dive the Fla. Springs, Observe the Manatees at Chrystal River, and Dive a Great Lakes wreck. Really had a great time...Lots More to come.

50 - noticed the poll has overlapping numbers an even number like 50 has 2 valid answers, likewise for 100, etc.

Considering that one of the major agencies defines an "active diver" as somebody who dives more than twelve times a year, I'd say, looking at the how the numbers are shaping up on the poll, that SB members (or at least the ones who participate in polls) are crazy far from the average scuba enthusiast!

2006: 101
2007: Realistically it will be around 70-100 dives and probably around 60-70 hours underwater.

fun dives:

2005 - 114
2006 - 119
2007 - the goal is over 100...gotta make the most of living in paradise while i still have a job here !

2005 (recertified) -- little over 50 sport
2006 -- little over 100 sport
2007 -- probably more since I've retired and plan to dive with TSandM a bit more (if she'll let me) -- also taking DM course so I actually may have some "pro" dives too

2005 = 23 sport + 37 pro = a slow year
2006 = 39 sport + 70 pro = 109
I would venture to guess 100+ is in my future for 07.:D 200 would be good and 730 (365 x 2) would be wonderful and also unrealistic for me this year. But I would like to average this number at least one year in my career. I have to get south first.
