Covering Missouri, Illinois, Oklahoma and any of the other great states in the midwest?

Could include Kansas if there was anyplace in the "land of dirt" to dive. But I do like the idea - there are lots of nice quarries that most divers don't know about.

I recommend that you checkout the current ScubaBoard club forums located at http://www.scubaboard.com/f42.html. If there is a state, city or region you don't feel has enough coverage just get together 10 interested users and contact NetDoc so he can explain the club process and open up the forum for you!

Don't foget Indiana!! I am in!! The Great Lakes Wrecking Crew does a bit with Indiana but most are in Michigan or above.

I know of around 10+ divers on here from the St. Louis area. Is there any interest in having our own MidWest or Missouri club section?
Closest we have right now is the Great Lakes or the Kentucky club. Neither of wich really covers us.
We could move all the posts about our various quarries and caves in as well as having a sticky roster for buddy finding.
Do we have enough people here to make this worth our while?

I never read anything except "New Posts" anyway, so a section or club wouldn't do anything for me. I do read anything that appears with a title of midwest, or mermet, or MO/IL, etc., so just regular posts in any category will get read by me.

Well, if you could count central Ill, particularly Effingham or Beecher City, then I would join. I'm stuck here an hour and a half drive from St. Louis, two an a half hours from Mermet,
two an a half hours from Haigh Quarry and plan stuck in the middle. No dive buddies in my area except my instructor when he has time and here lately I diving with everyone from Missouri anyways.
