They're definitely pushing you down a path that benefits them more than you.

I like atomic regs. I have a couple z2s and b2s. I think the T3 is a really cool reg, and if I won the lottery, I'd probably buy one just cause. But there's nothing really practically different between a b2 and a t3 in most situations.
In your opinion, can you tell me if you felt a difference between the Z2 and B2? looking at them now. Reconsidering this over the T3 since its definitely a lot cheaper. Only reason why I chose the T3 is them selling me that it would last longer

With atomic, the only main differences between the models are the specific materials used. With the t3, you're getting a titanium 1st stage, so it's more resistant to corrosion and a bit lighter, but that's the main advantage you're getting. With the st1, the first stage is stainless steel. For the b2 and lower, it's chrome plated brass. If you're an instructor, diving 2-3 times a day, every day, for years on end, it may last longer. Atomic has longer service intervals on some of their models, but even the base ones last a long time before needing service. Long story short, you're unlikely to wear out any of their models.

Between the z2 and the b2, it's really more comfort features. You get a spinning turret on the b2 and higher for the first stage. The z2 is a 7 port first stage with an axial port. The turret is nice, but other than that, I haven't noticed any difference. The z2 performs great and is what I use most of the time, mainly because my z2 first stage has a yoke and my b2 is din, and that's been appropriate for the diving I've done lately. If I was buying new, I'd probably buy a b2 for the turret.

The ti inflator is totally unnecessary. If I came across one cheap, I'd probably pick it up because I like shiny things, but it's totally unnecessary over the inflator that most bcs come with.

I definitely wouldn't spend a ton of money on a super expensive bcd starting off. I eventually moved to a bp/w, and even that I've reconfigured a couple times.

hence, why Im here... Everyone is telling me its too expensive but I have no idea whats a good or bad brand or product. On my first dive, I rented a BCD not knowing it was a bad product until I experienced it. While in the bottom of my div, I had no idea why I started floating to the top. Later discovered my weights fell out the right BCD pockets. Thank god I was not deeper, that could have been a dangerous situation!

Hence, one of the reasons why Im doing a lot of research. Even considered getting a weight belt and
someone already gave me an alternative: Get a better BCD

Advice: Get a cheap as you can find Oceanic computer. Get a rubber weightbelt. Buy a cheap BP/W with an aluminum plate and about 30-38 lbs of lift - and I like donut shaped not horseshow or u-shaped, buy the atomic regulator if you want but don't get the most spensive one unless that is your goal.

Get a generic pressure guage with a brass and glass case.

Definitely not... I honestly dont know what Im doing. Its like going to a supermarket for the first time. If you never seen an egg, the sales man can you make you believe one egg is worth $20. After the feedback Im getting, Im really feeling like Ive been suckered from my local shop.
I'm sorry I came on so strong in post #3. I was flabbergasted. Since you mention these were recommendations from a dive shop things make more sense. The shop is trying to profit excessively from your inexperience.
A high percentage of new divers drop out soon after certification. Even those who bought reasonably priced equipment face a considerable loss on resale. I recommend that you research equipment carefully, listen to people on this board, take your time, listen to divers you might meet, and set yourself a budget. Dive a lot. Renting equipment is not a bad option at first.
Good luck and have fun.

Unless you are trying to fit everything into a carry on, titanium anything is a waste of money. Even then it probably is.

Almost everyone is telling you your current list is grossly overpriced. There are many good options, for a lot less. But, you will have to start answering questions about the diving you plan to do to get specific advice. Everyone has their favorites, but if the total is more than $1500 you are paying too much at this point. Later, when you know what you want better, you may buy some of the more expensive stuff but then it will be an informed decision.

The problem you had with your BCD was probably maintenance, not the BCD model itself. Rent until you know if you want a jacket, a back inflate, or a Backplate/wing BCD. Then start shopping, you will probably find something you like better than what you are looking at for less than half the price.

An example of a single tank reg package that has good performance and will not break the bank.

When I was in your position, I wish someone had pointed me to something like this:

Add one of the quick release weight systems options if you aren't comfortable without one. They don't add much to the cost.

Only reason why I chose the T3 is them telling me that it would last longer
Oh boy, are dive shops trying to earn the reputation as being as dishonest as politicians?

You definitely need to take your business elsewhere.

Maybe even point them to this thread LOL.
