I am coming down Friday night, but am not sure what time I will get there. I am totally up for Monesterey in the afternoon.

Oh ... that's in the plans for "someday" ...

Right now I'm just looking forward to getting on that plane tomorrow afternoon, and diving with y'all over the following couple of days.

Ok we were just talking about where to dive and what the visibility is going to be on the North Coast. Anyone know? Last I heard it was 6 ft.

So the subject of Monterey came up. If we do this, I have to work in Vacaville Saturday morning (BIG meeting) and can head down after, then meet up for a night dive at Breakwater. Followed by a couple dives on Sunday. I have yet to dive Monastery but the swell forecast is looking good. Is there room on the boat for Sunday Andy, in otherwords do you have the dive ops name or contact info? Is there more than one boat? Anyone else planning anything for Sunday? BTW it would be two maybe three of us.

We had 5' of viz max at stillwater last week. Both near the surface and at depth. I literally could not see my fins for a good part of the dive. Hopefully things have settled down a bit.

I actually got my weekends mixed up for the boat dive. That was last weekend, I'm doing shore dives Saturday and Sunday.

There were 7 spots available at Lobos on Friday as of this afternoon.

If you are going to go and don't have a reservation, make one.

I'm planning on stopping by with my wife for a dive out to Beto's Reef to look for the monster GPO we saw last weekend. If you want to join us let me know.

Anybody interested in a pot luck lunch? My wife makes a good Chinese Chicken Salad ...

I have one reservation for PL on Friday-Debbie was nice enough to let me add a third
to the one res for my regular dive budddy,Jason(not darkpup)
Dan and WS-I suggest you make a res as I am only able to make one per day.
If you guys both come on friday there will be five of us.
Docwong (BA diving) reported 60ft of vis yesterday(lots of big waves and surge though)and even got buzzed by two dolphins!
My plan was to do Cannery Point..but Im open?

Ill be driving a Nissan Murano with a dive flag hitch cover-Im a big guy 6'4'-you cant miss me!

The tentative plan is for Monastery on Saturday if it cooperates,and then another site after?

looks like you're talking boat dives for the "get together." are you piloting your own boat or who can i chat with about hitching a ride? also, i'm free friday (until 5 pm) and all day sat... do i need to make res with PL or what?

Is there a plan to have a group dive on Sunday? I am liking the idea of 60+ foot visability. Since we have a place to stay down there it is only gas...in my Prius LOL I would really like to dive Monastery and the swell charts are showing 3-6ft for the weekend, but if there is a group meeting somewhere else...then it would be fun to meet and greet more people.

What time is everyone going to meet on Saturday for the night dive. I just confirmed that my work day will be done by 2:00 pm in Vacaville, so we can make it there in plenty of time.

Of course that is if we are invited

So what's the final count for Friday and Saturday?

So far the earliest I can get out of work Friady will be 0900... that would put me at Lobos by 12... "maybe" in time to make it for the second dive. I will have to drag my own buddy (and hopefully the park isn't full) if it is I'll just come in and hang out.

Anyone up for a late dive? (Just in case I can't drag my own buddy out)

I'm up for a late Friday dive for sure. Leaving work at about 3pm. I'll PM you my cell and e-mail, Ben, just in case you don't make it to Lobos.

I managed to weasel myself onto a private boat for Saturday day.

I haven't decided for sure whether I'm going to stick around for Saturday night and Sunday AM.
