Just curious ... how far is Monastary from the Breakwater?

I heard a rumor that JoeT is gonna be diving the Breakwater on Saturday, and I wouldn't mind at least stopping by to say "hi" ... if not to go get wet with those guys.

Of course, the more I hear about Monastary, the more excited I am about diving it. Sounds like the entry/exit's a bit rough ... :11:

Whatever you guys decide is fine with me ... I'm really looking forward to finally getting to dive down there.

Monestery is about a ten minute drive from the breakwater. If you go to the breakwater, it's best to go early as the parking lot tends to fill up with divers doing classes.

You will like Monestery as long as it cooperates. It's too bad you won't be able to dive Lobos, that is really the best spot IMHO.

Renpirate-We are diving Lobos on Friday!

We can always do a single dive at Monastary, and follow up with an noon / afternoon dive at Breakwater. The classes and trailer parking opens up at 12 pm, which makes getting a parking spot at Breakwater a bit easier.

Plus, if you know Joe, he's usually up for food of any kind. I'm sure we could twist his arm if he's not teaching a class that day.

Whoops, didn't see that. Good deal:D

Anyone have an extra space available for PL on Friday? I could be convinced to play hookey . . . . or better yet, schedule an appointment to see "Dr. Bailey" . . . .
