Ok everyone Just 15 days left until the meet and greet. Here is the list to remind everyone what they were bringing. and also a last ditch attempt to add last minute things. It has been updated with BigT being taken off of the list due to his unable to attend the event. On that account Dmaxtim we need your turkey fryer I have one but I have to hunt it down from one of the In-laws not sure which one has it. I will bring the turkey.

OK, we made it back from Oahu alive.
It's great to come home and see SNOW.
Well I got through the PADI AOW dives, it was great.
Got 3 cds w/ pics from the trip, w/ some good dive pics and a whale tail.

I'll get the frier and a new jug of oil put in.
I'm hoping my brother will come too.

After all that 75* water and 150' vis this is going to be a BIG change.

I'll make a couple of dutch oven pizzas but since they're SO good, I can eat one myself.

How about this: :eyebrow:

I'm expecting a new DVD with 4 Sea Hunt shows and will bring that, too.

Hey there!

I'm not sure what to bring. GTLX has the following listed for me...

"Diver Paula
1.Tripod and Iron skillet
2. Something else she mentioned but Im not going back through 20 pages to see what it was so Paula let me know what it was. "

I originally signed up to bring a tripod and a huge kettle thinking chili or soup would be greatly appreciated after a couple of cold dives &/or if the weather wasn't top notch. What's the consenus? Needed? Wanted? Or are the dogs / burgers / turkeys enough main course type food? Let me know so I know whether to start thinking in another direction.

I also said I'd bring a 5 gallon drink cooler (like they have on construction sites) full of water. Now a couple other people have volunteered for bottled water. What should I fill the cooler with? Water (filtered, of course)? Ice tea? Something else?

I also be bringing an extra drysuit and undies if someone wants to try it out. When last used it had no leaks. I checked the seals yesterday and they are in good shape. Both are custom made by White's. The suit is tri-laminate with latex wrist seals and neoprene neck. The boots are attached neoprene lined rubber. I'm 5'6" and well rounded. The boots were a bit large for me - I wear a woman's 11 (approx. men's 9.5).

There's a lot more extra dive gear in my basement if anyone wants to try something out. I do have my 6'6" father's drysuit undies (drysuit too but it's in bad shape). Not sure what size but I'll guess XXL or XXXL. Also ponies of various sizes, my sister's BC from when she was 11. I'll be bringing three steel 95's and could loan one out. Other than that, just ask and I'll see what else I can find in the basement.

Other than that I have tons of different camping items. Let me know if there is anything in particular I should bring. Portable propane grill? Standing grill to go over the fire? Work out a grill to hang from the tripod? Lantern? Coleman grill? Cast iron skillets for the pancakes, etc?

I'd bring it all but there's just so much room in my vehicle. I will be bringing a two person tent - right now a board member from Indiana will probably be joining me.

I'm headed to Pennsylvania so it may be a couple days until I'm able to check the board again.

Looking forward to getting back in the water after a much too long hiatus!
Paula

p.s. I'll be bringing a really late birthday present for DMP that should be quite entertaining for all in attendance at the meet & greet!

Awwww shucks, will it make me turn red??? :11: (Dancing Girls??)
Sorry, haven't been around SSI decided to update their DM (Dive Con) course. Now that they have ruined my day, now I need to review all the new updates (sucks to be me). Test time is around the corner, when will the madness end? Going home tonight and study over a few cold ones.

Sorry people but, Down4Fun will not be in attendance.

Trust me! At Gilboa, just yell for help and mean it. About five bottles will show up from all of the shops teaching there.

I should get a kit, but if I am working as a DiveCon, the shop provides one. If I am tech diving, someone (myself in a month or so) has a bottle of pure O2 for some mysterious reason called deco stops. So, I haven't been willing to fork over the money for a kit.

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't Mike have one at the quarry?
