Is it actually carbon fibre or just a faux finish using an In Mold Decoration (IMD) textured film?
These days laser-etching can achieve the same look...

I believe it is actually carbon fiber. From the SCUBAPRO literature...

You are correct, thank you. I just got confirmation the cover is in fact carbon.

No, it's new.

If you look at schematic other than the "black tech" parts, the cover assy has changed and looks like purge actuator has changed, everything else is the same including name.

Looks nice, the G260 is close to the “perfect” reg and adding a nice look makes it even better
