Whats up folks... new to the site and looking to dive!
So whats the story? May 3rd? What time? Would love to hook up with some locals and dive consistantly.

Alki Cove 2 at 6 pm. See the first post in the thread.

Yeah, I reread it, should've edited my post before someone corrected me.
So, I'll try to make it. How do I know who I'm supposed to meet? Im guessing there won't be a big flag or anything blazin saying, "Group Dive Here"...

Do what I did at my first "Big Buddy" dive . . . wander around asking, "Is this the Big Buddy dive?" until somebody says yes . . . Really, that's what I did!

Either that, or you can look for a burnt orange Honda Element with a sticker in the back window that says, "Addicted to Scuba Diving". That's Bob.

Cove 2... is that at the little fish and chips house just down from Salty's?
Maybe I should bring a cardboard sign and hold it at the corner,
"Solo Diver, anyone will do, God bless".
Heh

Yes, it's the Fish&Chips place just past Salty's.

Don't hold up a sign saying "Solo Diver" or everybody will think you want to dive by yourself! :)

You just need to walk around asking are you part of the mentoring group.
Or you could wander around looking lost ~ one of us will snag you. :D

I will share that any new diver that is looking to get out and dive ~
THIS IS HOW YOU WANT TO DO IT.
You will not find a better group of folks to show you the ropes.

Bob ~ I just got back in country. Must pick up my tanks. Reorganize my gear.
I WILL TRY AND MAKE IT. I do love these mentor dives.
Can I be a newbie this time ? :D

I will call and let you know if I can do this or not.
