One last question, I saw your posts about Palau in another thread. Was debating the bumphead spawning liveaboard/resort vs a Visayas trip. Do you have any sense of coral health and reef biodiversity between the sites in Visayas vs Palau? Would be helpful to help narrow
You must have mistaken me for someone else because the last trip I made to Palau was back in 2004 on a LoB. I had done the based trip previously and realized the mistake. Koror is miles away from most sites and the daily bumpy ride on a fast speed boat was NO fun at all. LoB is the only way(my opinion).
It was expensive then and probably more so nowadays.
There are a few spawning seasons and if you are interested, please look it up.
Sam's Tours and Fish 'n Fins are well known operator.

Palau is one of only 12 UN member states to have formal diplomatic relations with Republic of China(Taiwan). Anyone going to visit Palau will have my utmost blessing.
Go for it mate.
