What do shops do for liability insurance? Do they get it from a regular company (Allstate, State Farm, etc.) or is it though PADI, SSI or whatever? Is it part of a general policy that covers trips, instruction, etc.?
Some shops in my area use contract labor. Is their contract labor self insured or does the shop carry the liability?
How much insurance is required/recommended?
