Hi all,

I am putting together a travel BP/W set with the restriction that everything needs to fit in my carry-on. I’m fine with a hogarthian harness, but would like a bit of adjustability to make it easier.

For BPs, I’ve narrowed it down to either dogbone plates from Highland or Pirahna, but I also kind of like the style of the Finnsub Aero because it’s a bit more narrow but still has some side spots for attaching stuff. It also looks nice and sleek, compared to the hard angles and pointy bits that seem characteristic of Pirahna and Aliexpress offerings.

For harnesses, I’m leaning toward either a standard hogarthian with some Subgravity sliders (or similar). Or I’m looking at the Finnsub Ultralight harness—- they take a potentially nice approach using adjustable stainless steel sliders in the shoulder straps. Design borrowed from parachute harness design. Again, looks sleek and no plastic.

The whole Highland 20lb wing package is attractive because it comes as a set, but I’m really intrigued by the Finnsub setup.

Has anybody tried the Finnsub ultralite harness? Thoughts/impressions?
