From what I've read, getting medical cannabis in Mexico, including Cozumel, is possible but a bit tricky. Your relative would need a prescription from a Mexican doctor. The process can be cumbersome because it involves proving the medical necessity and getting approval from the health authorities.

Unless the need is a genuinely medical necessity, I would advise giving it a rest for the duration of your visit.

Also, Medical cannabis pricing might be different from what we're used to in the US, and it could vary based on availability and local regulations. Maybe reaching out to local pharmacies or medical clinics ahead of time could provide some clarity on how to navigate the system there.

Of those folks damaged from various substance predilections I have known over the years it very obviously
stands out, like dogs balls, that marijuanists, appear to have had the largest portion of their brain removed

I don't know how much truth you have there. There are real medical benefits with some ailments and that's what Gordon was attempting to assist with two years ago. Sadly we didn't have medical sources back when my brother was going thru chemotherapy, and I didn't know anything about how to find and use the drug. I figured that I'd get myself busted for nothing if I tried.

You've clearly never met a heroin, meth or crack addict and sound, very much, like someone who yells at the kids to get off his lawn.
