Alligator tastes kind of like dried, overcooked chicken. Needs a mountain of chili and soy to give it any flavour.

I saw this documentary that had a part in it about a nomadic family in India that went around to farms. They had a rat catching (pest control) business. Their perk was, they got to eat all the rats the caught.
