Regarding the nutritional value of Dog meat, eating the liver of huskeys gives you vitamin A poisoning. This nearly killed Dr Douglas Mawson in Antarctica.

I think the same applies to Polar Bears but someone needs to confirm that.

And dont worry Catherine, they dont eat Polar Bear in Bali.

I had a roommate in college that lived in the Philippines for a while when he was growing up (His dad was in the USAID). His neighbors ate his dog. They knew his dog was a pet and they did it anyway. My roommate waited until it got cold one winter and he tied a plastic bag over their chimney. "Now, that's funny right there."

The only dogs I ever saw (outside of my weird taco) in the Phillipines or South Korea were really fast ones!
