Dang, photo link ain't working.

The Elysium is a good sized boat, what's the prob................it did look a little choppy out there this afternoon......

The wind doesn't seem to be blowing quite so hard today, but it is rainier. Hoping that the weather clears up for you guys tomorrow.

Can't make it to your place tonight Catherine - kid's got a project that she's been procrastinating on and I need to get her behind in gear. Sorry to be missing everyone - it's been a while since I've seen everyone.

;) I know!

okay...as long as it isn't personal.

You are a good mom. :10: :medal: You'll be missed.

Seriously Lisa? You might want to rethink the trouble. Alex called to say he cancelled again today. Nobody is going out it seems. I am guessing 60-40. he says it is supposed to be worse tomorrow. Does anybody want to have a plan B?

Plan B - dive in Catherine's pool - all drill dive unless we dump some goldfish in. Is it deep enough for me to practice deploying my SS? (BTW, j/k)

It's too bad the weather had to stir things up. It sounds like you will still have a great day. Any day spent hanging out with divers and their dive stories is like heaven for me.

The North Pacific cyclonic activity has really ramped up over the past week. The weather that you're seeing is coming from a fairly large and intense system that's near Hawaii. We (mainland) should get some solid double-overhead surf later this week. Currently, the models are showing a classic complex low being set with some interesting reinforcing feed back. Another system looks like it forming behind this one. Here's an animation from Surfline's LOLA model going into this weekend :

Good luck.

wow.

very cool.

I told Alex people want to know why we might not go, since the boat is so big and nice. And he said "because he doesn't want to kill divers"

the sun is out, at the moment.

Were not going to make it tonight, too much work stuff for K.
