3 November. The beach conditions have been unfavorable for the past couple days. Boat dive was blowed out yesterday. Went out with Megladon Charters (used to be Florida West Scuba Boat) today. 5 to 10 ft vis, warm water. Finally found a 4.5 inch meg. Checked the beach for an afternoon dive and decided it wasnt going to happen.

Went out today at Venice public beach. In the water right at low tide. Hardly any waves. We had really bad viz 2-3' just past no swim marker cleared up and had pockets of 8' viz in deeper water. Found no teeth the bottom easily turned into a silt out. The winds blowing to the South West made for a nice swim out but ended up a little to far when we popped up and had a very unpleasent swim back in.
