What a lousey viz day. Air temp was 87 bottom temp 82. Viz ranged from less then 6 inches to 3 ft in some spots. I was picking up rocks with my teeth in some areas. But I was just happy to be under water. Got a headache now from trying to focus lol but it was a nice swim. Still no jellies, boats got a tad close but nice day. Found a nice frag, I m in tears wishing it was a whole. Just a quarter of it and it measured almost 3.5. I ll get a pic of it later. Nap time. now.

Went out of South Brohard around 10am.
Depth-15-20'
Vis-2-3'
Water temp-don't know the degree, but it felt fine without a wetsuit
Still seems like a lot of snot in the water

Did the park north of Sharky's. Winds out of the SE. Vis 3-4 ft with a max depth of 21 ft. Water got a little bumpy. Spent most of the time fighting with the yak.

Hey everybody! Long time reader, first time poster. My buddy and I dove Alhambra around 10am. There was a decent surge and plenty of snot in the water with about 8ft vis.

Decided to try a new spot so we headed farther South to the pier. As we suited up we had the good luck to meet dkramer. She directed us to S. Brohard and gave us directions to the new blocks.

The water was about the same with a long walk out before we could drop down. We cruised the blocks and reef for a good hour. As we were surfacing I spotted your monster flounder!

All in all a great day to be outside

Dove just north of Sharkys. Went in just after 2, vis about 15-20 in 15' of water went down to 10-15 in 20' of water. On the way out swam through a huge bait ball that eclipsed all light. Lots of grouper and other fish. Found a lot of small teeth. A little snot in the water around the 10' mark but besides that it was a nice dive. lots of current heading west. The other half of our group went a couple hundred yards north of us and found the pipes and a jew fish. They didn't find a lot of teath but had a good dive.

LOL, ain't that the truth. And last weekend I got a sunburn from the sun reflecting off the glassy water thirty miles out. I guess summer is over for now. :D
