Do you mean that you can refit the regulator to make the original din reg with a yoke adapter into a a native yoke reg?
Almost always. What do you have for a regulator? I'm sure somebody here can say for sure.

Don't know of any "current"reg. that could not be rebuilt either way.
And you can do this yourself quite easy.Just buy the yoke or Din conversionkit for your reg.

Just takes an hexkey and a spanner,to go either way.

I also hear that they have adapters now for the tank valves. So a yoke tanke valve can fit a din regulator setup. Is this true?

It's true that you can get a DIN tank valve that will take an insert so you can use a yoke regulator on it. The only problem here is that if the DIN tank is a high-pressure tank (>3000psi ) you are running increased risk that the yoke itself could fail. Look at the side of the yoke; it will have a maximum pressure rating stamped into it. If you don't exceed that pressure rating you'll be ok. DINs are designed to work with pressures up to 4500psi where most yokes can only take 3500 max. Be careful!!

on tanks you can turn a din valve into a yoke... but i dont think there is a converter for a yoke valve to a din b/c the din makes a direct connect to the valve.

There is such a thing as a converter for a yoke to DIN, Im not sure if all manufacturers make such a converter but I believe most do, Apeks, DiveRite, Aqualung to name a few. Cheers.
