Anyone know where I can get Chromesafe Ultrasonic cleaning solution that is recommended by some reg manufacturers?
thanks.

ChromeSafe was the Aqualung / US Divers brand of cleaner (at least it was labeled as such in their old parts catalogs). I don’t think it’s made anymore. At least one of the Aqualung repair manuals says: “White vinegar, although less effective, is one suitable substitute for ChromeSafe ...”
Another alternative can be found in Global’s catalog:

(go to section 3-repair, then ultrasonic, then solvent)

Great, thank you both for the help

Don't some people also use simple green?

According to Wikipedia, Simple Green will eat the chrome plating off if left submerged for a few days. I would still use it in an UC, but for minutes, not days.
