2nd stage barrel corrosion

I was thinking a Flexi-hone.

But the Happy Diver solution is a good one. Split a dowel, double fold a piece of 600 paper for a flapper, glue it in the split with a drop of super glue, spin it with a drill motor working back and forth.

hmmm 600 paper will take material off the barrel… i was thinking just cloth.

will make something… for my next overhaul. i still got 4 more 2nd stages to do… but waiting for the 1st stage kits to arrive… maybe 17days by post

ive limited my overhaul to brushing metal parts and dipping in acid.

ultrasonic is just Joy soap. for 6mins… but… should i lower it?

I agree. You don't want to remove metal, just corrosion.
