Changing the Title of a Thread Posted by Me

Hi, I've tried to find out how to change the title of a thread originated by me in the Classified section. An older post offers a solution but I think it was for the older format of the board. It references "Thread Tools" and "Notify a Mod" -- neither of these icons appear on my screen.

I’m going off of poor memory, so please forgive me if I’m wrong, but I think there is a set of dots (three, maybe) above the upper right hand corner of your first post, opposite the date. There should be an option there to change it. Unfortunately, my posts are too old since closing them that I can’t confirm. Maybe @Akimbo can better help.

You can hit the Report button and report your own post in the Classifieds section. Just explain what you want changed.

Hi, I've tried to find out how to change the title of a thread originated by me in the Classified section.

There should be an Edit option at the bottom for the OP (Original Poster) in all classifieds threads.

You can edit the content, the title, and the title prefix.

This is how a For Sale title prefix is changed to Closed. Unlike normal posts, the Edit option does not expire for the OP after 24 hours.

FYI, I edited the title of this post. All caps is considered shouting and takes up a lot more space on thread lists.
