How important do you value the ocean view. I am looking to book for myself. Right now, I am seeing two twin beds ocean view ($126 prepaid) vs possible king bed City or Terrace view ($78 prepaid). Prices are per night, of course. I can't see if it's going to book me into a sister property for these prices. Thoughts?

Whoops! Casa Mexicana. Thanks!!

Well, you're diving in the day time, right? So want to get a good sleep at night? I'd ask for something not facing the street or a night club (whichever that might be). Who cares about the view if you aren't there for the better part of the day.

So, which are the best rooms? Can high up on the ocean view be better than lower city or ocean view? Is high up city view the best?

You could always go sit in a chair by the pool if you want to watch the ocean. I haven't stayed in an ocean room there but have stayed in rooms facing the lobby and the city. If you are not an early riser I would suggest a city view room due to the noise made getting the breakfast buffet ready. I think there are some rooms that face South, I don't know how you go about reserving those but that would be my preference

How do you verify not being booked in one a sister property?

I have never booked with them directly, always used a third party booking site like booking dot com, has always been cheaper than when i looked at their website, never had an issue. I have stayed at Suites Bahia more often though

Huh? You are booked in the hotel that you book.

I value oceanfront not at all. Certainly wouldn't pay almost double for it. You'll see enough of the water diving. You can sit on the balcomy by the pool and see the water.

Whomever changed my title, Thank you.
