I'm not sure about compatibility with DSS plate/wing but I really like the Halcyon strap with the "OctoGrip" material - it really holds the tank securely and does not have to be extremely tight.

What's wrong with the current cam straps that came with from DSS? If they are in good shape and you still want to change them out, send me your old cam straps.

I'm partial to the ScubaPro cam straps. They are a bit pricey but I've never had any problem with them.

The DiveRite version is $15.00 at Fill Express.

I want to replace the Cam Straps on my DSS plate. I want something I can adjust once for an Al80 and not have to mess with it again. Anyone ever used the straps on this link? Any other recommendations?

Those are basically the same as the ScubaPro straps. My son had a problem with his strap and I replaced it with one of these. I may wind up putting one on my BC as well.

I'm with Michael. I've had no issue with the cam straps that come with the DSS plate. I'm not quite sure what the OP means by adjust for an AL80 and never mess with again. I have my cam straps set for 7.25 in tanks and use them with my AL80s and HP100s both without any adjustment. Maybe I don't understand what you mean by adjustment.

Hoosier,

Same here. I never really have to adjust anything, except to put them back on the tank. (I only have one-arm, so I use my foot to "pull up" on the back side (away from BP/W) in order to pull the BP/W off the tank, so it "loosens up" a little everytime.)

I don't think many have issues with the DSS CAM straps. I use the DiveRite SS CAM bands. They work great, but I don't think the design is much different VS. the DSS other than that they are SS.

If you are having to mess with the CAM strap adjustment, it's likely you did not wet it, and get it set right and tight in the first place. I never have to mess with my CAM straps on either my BP/W or my Zeagle Stiletto unless I change the tank size.
