I have a nikon D70 but I'm not bringing it underwater even with an UW housing. Wouldn't be comfortable diving with it...the fear yup the fear of flooding.

it's true the housing alone wud cost you an arm...maybe with one of your legs even. It's not worth it. Tama yan pards, Point and Shoot (wid manual controls) and binili mo. But flooding it wud still hurt though..

so photographer ka talaga? to buy a d70 (we use those a lot in school too) means seryoso ka... that or seryoso grabe ang bank account mo hehehehe

tama thats why i wont get one til i can actually afford one. But what i want is the Canon eos-60d with the Subal d60 housing. two inon strobes and a couple of wide angle lenses and macro lenses.

mons dad had the new dual chip sony video cam with gates uw housing. one of the o-rings of the buttons was loose when we dove in apo reef, it popped at 140 feet. the case is salvageable but the cam is dust:(
 
That IS pretty. Expensive too. Don't forget insurance when you get the whole thing. Never know what might happen while you're underwater.....

Now the D2X or 1DIIS is what you want!! 12 or 16 mp, take your pick...

Its easy to sell a lung in PI isn't it?

ya i know but a cousin of mine who is a proffessional photographer is letting go of his for a fair price, hes getting the 1DIIS, i wanted the 20d, a bit underrated for you but more than i actually need as a novice photographer. my prior experience is the a95
