Ben, any word on which Flipsky ESC they are using on the new 2024 Bluetooth model? I see a V6 bluetooth module that does plug into the mini 6.7 Pro, however, the led display is plugged into the pins that would be used for coms... did they remap the in/outputs to different pins? Is that the SPI/IIC/UART selection for port 3?

There is a second com port in some 6.7 models that would accept a Bluetooth module, but I don't see that 6 pin port in the version of VESC in my 2-3xxx model scooter.
My understanding is that bluetooth radio is part of the display now as well.

There is bluetooth moduel with V4.12 for example
6 Pin on 4.12 map to v6.7 pin definition is same, but v6.7 have 7th pin - ADC3.
Suppose you can munally to modify pin to V6.7 connector with V4.12 example.
Note, i don't try this way actually.

you have to enable uart first , have anybody manage to enable uart on firmware and disable the i2c?

I bought the bluetooth module for the Flipsky 6.7, it works fine for the VESC default firmware, but DX has modified it so that it's trying to work through the screen. I did some comparisons between the default code and the DX code, and it looks like you should be able to back out the changes that make it work with the screen, but I haven't really tried it yet, I've been to busy trying to get all the other settings and speeds set to where the scooter works the way I want it to.

Hi nwbrewer,

I managed to get UART working about two months ago, but unfortunately, I lost track of the specific changes I made to enable it. Since then, I haven't been able to replicate the setup successfully. However, I do have a BIN file with UART enabled if anyone needs it.

Hello Guys,

I would like to test the custom firmware v.2.3 by benjammin17, but I can find the original firmare .bin (v.1.19) to keep in side in case I have to restore the scooter.

Is there an archive where I can find all original DiveXtras firmware? Or is it possibile to create a backup file with VESCTool before flashing the modded one?

Thank you
