I'm so glad I found this board! I've been browsing threads off and on for the last few weeks, and I've found so much good info!

My fiance and I are going to be in Kona Aug 28-Sept 4, and we are looking forward to diving while there. I'll definately be checking into a few of these dive operations for our trip.

And while we're there, anyone want to dive with us???

We will be there Aug 30-Sept 9th. We will most likely be diving with Pac Rim. Who are you diving with and where are you staying??

My favorite operator is Pacific Rim Divers in Kailua-Kona. Patrice runs a very relaxing, laid back trip and is very easy to work with. She does a good briefing with a big emphasis on critter finding, and she has many nature guides aboard for reference. Her homemade brownies during your SI are pretty good too! Pac Rim is a boat only operation that meets you at the Honakahou Small boat Harbor. There are many good operations in Kona so you probably cant go wrong with most, Pac Rim just happens to be my favorite. Here's their site: www.pacificrimdivers.com

PS: Hi everybody, this is my first post

SoCal, I'm diving with Konaquatica for a few days next week. I'll let you know how they are when I get back. They've been great to deal with in planning. There will be 4 of us with a variety of experience levels, and two will be using their rental gear.

"Wildcard" knows the owner, and gave me a good recommendation. You might want to PM him for more info.
