Black Pebble is an awesome site, just watch the swells because it can get pretty rough. I love diving the harbor if you can get someone to show you around there. Kona Shore Divers is a great shop for all of this.

Adding another "thumbs up" for Black Pebble Beach. Just did a single tank there this morning and it was fantastic: good visibility, low wind/surf this morning so easy in/out (best to go very early as a local diver told us that the winds rise each morning by 11 or Noon and makes the entry/exit more challenging. We parked in the lot to the South and entered about middle of the beach. Went North where Jack's Diving locker map showed lots of interesting features - chutes, channels, a bowl, some pinnacles. Some of the healthiest coral we've seen on Kona - lot's of colorful reef fish, several eels (yellow margin, white mouth, and the variegated one I think is named an "undulated eel". Some local divers told us there are great features to the South to, but we haven't explored that direction.
