Beach Dive, Saturday Sept. 30, BROWARD

Renee, thanks! I know about that, but I don't think it will be hopping yet at 8 a.m. Of course I'm also up for Dania Beach, I'm just waiting to see what others want to do. Looking forward to diving with you again!

Okay, who's in? Since nobody else expressed a preference, I'm going to call it for Dania Beach. Here is an interactive map (clicky) to it. This map is actually to the Dania Beach Grill but we will be parking JUST south of it, at the south end of the parking lot. There is a master meter system so bring quarters and/or dollar bills.

I have not dived this spot in years and years so I don't know how far out it is, but I expect it shouldn't be too much different from Johnson Street because it's just a three miles north of Johnson. Some nice things about this are that it's really close to Coastal Marine if anyone needs gear or fills, and you can get breakfast, lunch or beer at the Dania Beach Grill.

I'll be there about 7:30 a.m. and I'm bringing two tanks in case it is nice enough to do a second dive. Let me know if you're coming so I know to look for you.

Let's get wet! The water won't stay warm that much longer!!!

Gosh, wish I could make it, that is a nice spot. Was out there a couple years ago. It is quite a swim to the good stuff, but plenty to see on the way out.
Why can't I make it? hee hee, got to take the car in to the shop. Was gonna do it last week, but was dive plannin'.

Yes, I think so...(trying to picture it in my mind) it is actually JUST to the north of those two huge condos on the beach at Dania Beach Boulevard...is that it?

It's WAY further out than Johnson, get ready to swim. The further south you go at dania, the further out it is as well.

I may go for 1 tank, if I go, I'll show you the spots. Dove Dania yesterday, over 100 minutes in the water, 1 lobster, we went up and down both reefs. It's picked clean.

I can't reach my diving buddy right now, if we go diving in the morning, we are doing johnson. If I can't reach him, or we don't go tomorrow, I'll see you guys at 7:30am Dania.
