Balmorhea closed to diving until further notice

They just announced it's open again but will be closing again May 14-21 for
cleaning. Link.

The web site says open now with the disclaimer that they didn't find out what was causing the bites/rash/whatever and that you may get it if you swim in there. All lab tests came back as just plain ol' pure, clean spring water.

Got to wonder what the afflicted swimmers had in common besides the pool...?

I wonder if they've checked the cabins/motel for bed bugs?

Hands, wrists, and ankles aren't typical bedbug bite sights.
